Albania's tourism sector saw a statistical increase during 2025, with official figures showing more than 12 million foreign visitors. This figure represents a new record for the country, surpassing the statistics of previous years.
According to data released by the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Blendi Gonxhja, Albania is now seeking to maintain interest beyond the narrow summer season. The government's reading of the data focuses on expanding the tourism product, which now includes sectors such as culture, gastronomy and sports activities.
