6 Albanians and 2 Greeks among dangerous foreigners arrested in the US

The US Department of Homeland Security has released an updated list of aliens considered particularly dangerous and who have been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This list also includes six people of Albanian origin, who, according to the authorities, have a serious criminal past.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said federal agents are ramping up deportation operations, giving top priority to those who have committed serious crimes. "We are implementing President Trump's commitment, starting with the most dangerous offenders," the statement said.

The list of those arrested includes:

  • Vasil Vukaj – convicted of murder, located and arrested in California.
  • Florjan Delija – with a conviction for assault, he was arrested in New York.
  • Adush Muçaj – with a history of physical assault, was taken into custody in Utah.
  • Marian Makai – had been convicted of theft, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats, was arrested in California.

From Kosovo also included are: Nikollë Lleshaj and Besart Hoxha.

The same list also lists two people of greek Origin. Petros Sismanis, who had been convicted of sexual assault and indecent acts against a minor, was arrested In Massachusetts. also, John Giakoumelos, convicted of murder and robbery, was located and arrested in New York.

The release of the names, according to the Department, is part of ongoing operations to identify and remove individuals considered a threat to public safety in the United States.
