A police operation at Tirana's Rinas Airport led to the arrest of two Chinese nationals carrying a large quantity of drugs. The two men, aged 37 and 48, were traveling from Thailand and were in possession of two suitcases full of synthetic cannabis.

According to the Albanian police statement, the drugs were packaged in 120 packages and consisted of Cannabis Sativa with a high concentration of THC. The quantity was apparently intended for sale on the Albanian market.
