The number of benefactors from Northern Epirus is very large and does not stop only at the well-known names. In the fine print of history we discover cases of people who, as Bagas wrote on his tomb, considered their own possessions to be common property.
The following are the names of Northern Epirus National Benefactors who are less known:
THE Anastasios Avramidisfrom Kortsa he financed the magnificent Church of Agios Georgios in his birthplace, while with his expenses he maintained two schools and gave medicine to his needy fellow citizens.
THE George Adamfounded an Orphanage.
THE Dimitrios Tsiskashe founded a hospital and contributed large sums for the navy.
THE Ioannis Dimasfrom Himara, he took care of education in his homeland, while he also did many favors in the Greek community of Egypt where he lived.
THE Gikas Bitzilis, from Drymades Himaras, settled in Odessa, offered annual support to the school of Drymades.
THE Zotos Douros, from Premeti, who lived in Vienna, bequeathed the money for the creation and operation of the first Greek school in Premeti in 1878.
THE Anastasis Kalantzis, from Moschopolis, settled in Trieste founded a large library in Moschopolis together with G. Sina and M. Kiopekas, while leaving all his property to educational institutions.
