In Finiki, a new school building is being delivered for use for the area's 9-year-old school, which will accommodate approximately 100 students in upgraded and modern facilities.
The project was implemented with funding from the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Municipality of Finiki and is part of a broader program of reconstruction and modernization of school units. The new structure has equipped classrooms, laboratories and the necessary infrastructure to fully cover the educational needs of students and teaching staff.
According to the Minister of Education, this specific project is part of a national plan that foresees the completion of dozens of interventions in school buildings across the country within the year, in collaboration with local governments.
Work on Foiniki began about a year ago and the new building is now ready to welcome students, teachers and families from the wider area, offering improved learning conditions.
