In an already problematic year for tourism, the death of the 7-year-old is a global disgrace for Albania's tourism.

The British media has echoed the tragedy that occurred on Potami beach, where 7-year-old Jonada Avdia was killed by a boat driven by Police Commissioner Arjan Tase.

This is because the family lived in the Barking area of London and were only in Albania for a vacation.

The Daily Mail published the photos and videos circulating on social media of the moments after the tragedy when the father was confronted by the police. Another moment that resonates is how Tasse dealt with the anger of the holidaymakers who were present.

"I was swimming with my daughter near the shore, I saw a white boat with two people. The boat approached the beach near a hotel and I saw a girl getting off.

It came towards us at breakneck speed and separated me and my girl. i dove In and the boat hit my daughter with the propeller, injuring her all over.

"I saw that the boat left, but then the boatman came back, stopped the boat and went Ashore" – the testimony of the girl's father, also quoted by the "Daily Mail".

While "The Sun" emphasizes that it is the third accident involving a speedboat on the Albanian coast this summer.

The newspaper reports that last month a couple was taken to hospital after being hit by a speedboat in Yali, while two days later another 7-year-old child was rushed to the emergency room after a speedboat accident.

The Mirror said it had asked the British Foreign Office for comment on the matter.
