The Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, and other leaders of the State Police, a high-level delegation of the Italian police, headed by the Director of the Anti-Mafia Investigation Directorate Maurizio Vallone and consisting of representatives of this directorate and representatives of the Italian Interforce office in Albania.
Discussions during this visit focused on intensifying cooperation between the police of both countries, to jointly combat criminal trafficking groups operating in both countries, as well as coordinating police actions to destroy these groups, arrest members, and seize their financial assets.
Rrumbullaku thanked the head of Antimafia Vallone and the representatives of the Italian Interforce office in our country for the cooperation offered by these structures and the Italian police as a whole. He stressed that this partnership has brought very positive results in the fight against organized crime and expressed the belief that the relations of cooperation and friendship will develop in other police aspects as well, to guarantee the security of the citizens of both countries.
