On Assumption Sunday, February 2, 2025, the novena of Anastasius took place at the Tirana Cathedral of the Resurrection.
Towards the end of the divine service, a memorial service was held in the church of “Anastasi”, led by the Vicar of the Archdiocese of Albania, Metropolitan Ioannou of Korçë, flanked by Metropolitans Nikolaos of Apollonia and Fieri, Antonios of Elbasan, Asty of Vera, Nathanael of Amantia, Bishop Anastasios of Krugia, as well as by clergy of the Archdiocese.
During his sermon, the vicar Of the Archdiocese, mr. Ioannis, who presided over the divine service in the cathedral of The "Resurrection", where a photograph of anastasios was placed On the archiectural throne, referred with nostalgia to The person of the venerable archbishop, emphasizing the love that the whole world showed him and continues to show him for his enormous contribution, spiritual and material, for his words and his works.
At the trisagion, at the tomb of Anastasios, within the cathedral complex, Bishop Anastasios of Krugia officiated, with the co-attendance of the Vicar of the Archbishopric, Metropolitan Ioannou of Korytsa, as well as Metropolitans Nikolaos, Antonios, Asty, and Nathanael.
Πάνω στον λιτό και απέριττο τάφο, όπου υπάρχουν ο Εσταυρωμένος κι ένα καντήλι, είναι χαραγμένο στην αλβανική και ελληνική γλώσσα το απλό επίγραμμα: “Αναστάσιος -Αρχιεπίσκοπος Τιράνων, Δυρραχίου και πάσης Αλβανίας”, που έχει στο μέσον το έμβλημα της Αρχιεπισκοπής, το σταυρό.
Εξάλλου πλήθος πιστών προσκύνησε με πολλή ευλάβεια στον τάφο του αλησμόνητου Αρχιεπισκόπου, έχοντας την αίσθηση της ζωντανής παρουσίας της ψυχής του, γιατί μορφές όπως ο Αναστάσιος δεν μπορεί να τις νικήσει ο θάνατος του σώματος.
Αυτός ο τάφος θυμίζει ότι ο Αναστάσιος διήλθε μια ζωή με αρετές και χαρίσματα και καρποφορία μέσα στο τούνελ του χρόνου, όπου υπήρξαν δυσκολίες, αλλά κατέληξε στην ουράνια πατρίδα.
Έδειξε υπομονή και αγάπη στο ταξίδι μέσα στο τούνελ και ο Χριστός δεν τον εγκατέλειψε. Συνταξίδευε μαζί Του…
Το τούνελ του χρόνου τελείωσε για τον Αναστάσιο και το τραίνο της ύπαρξής του και των δωρημάτων του προς τον άνθρωπο μπήκε στο φως της ατέλειωτης ημέρας.
Από τα Τίρανα ο Αναστάσιος θα εξακολουθεί να στέλνει το σάλπισμα της αδελφοσύνης και ο τάφος του θα είναι πηγή, αλλά και απόδειξη καθολικότητας.
