A 41-year-old Albanian man has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Germany, after being found guilty of murdering a 45-year-old compatriot.
K.M. was accused of killing A.G., after long-standing conflicts between them.
K.M. Admitted his actions in the darmstadt city court. however, He Claimed that he was afraid that A.G. would shoot him first.
The court rejected this claim, noting that the victim was unarmed and completely defenseless. a Video was presented in Which k.M. appears to approach armed and disguised, intending to kill a.G., Known in the community as “Benny”.
Shortly before the murder, A.G. had cut off the upper part of K.M.'s right ear, in an act that was considered humiliating.
K.M. stated that in Albania, ear cropping is practiced on dogs to subdue them and that he could not tolerate such an insult.
Investigators believe the conflict between the two men may have started over either drug dealing or a woman. Both appear to have been drug users and dealers.
The judge noted that the victim had also been investigated for drug cases and had a reputation as a cruel and dangerous person.
After the murder, k.M. Fled to sweden, But was later arrested.
