Albanian Interior Minister Taulant Balla is visiting Great Britain, where meetings are planned with senior British officials, including his counterpart James Cleverly.
Firstly, he co-chaired with the Immigration Minister, Robert Jenrick, the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) meeting, within the framework of the Joint Task Force on Illegal Migration (TFPM), where significant results were assessed at a more than 90% reduction in illegal migration.
A year ago, Prime Ministers Rama and Sunak agreed to deepen cooperation in three areas of common interest, on security and home affairs (mainly with a focus on the fight against organised crime and illegal immigration), economic development and investment, as well as innovation, youth and education.
Minister Balla pointed out that the results are tangible, thanks to this intensive cooperation.
"Through excellent and operational cooperation, we have already achieved impressive results in fighting crime and in intercepting and combating illegal immigration," the albanian minister Of interior Emphasized.
