According to the Prosecutor's Office, during the investigations, a large number of citizens from Albania were identified who attempted to enter the United Kingdom through various airports in Germany using false documents.
Last year, an Albanian couple was arrested at Hanover airport trying to fly to London using fake Greek documents. The passports contained a combination of double S and crescent watermarks, which also contained a readable chip. People who wanted to travel with this network got in touch via “Tik-Tok”, under the profile “passaporaeurope”.
Following investigations by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, the mechanism was discovered where various citizens sought fake documents, including passports, from MH, who sent the orders to a laboratory in Kosovo where the forgeries were made, in exchange for 1,500 euros.
These documents were then sent back through their associates who camouflaged this illegal activity by transporting passengers from Kosovo to Albania and beyond.
