A house on Shrewsbury Close, in the Bloxwich area of Walsall, went up in flames, injuring four people.
According to police, the house was being used as a "nest" for growing drugs. The cause of the explosion is said to be a gas leak from a bottle.
An eyewitness, an Albanian resident of Birmingham who is aware of the circumstances of the incident, stated that the two men who suffered serious burns inside the house are from Albania.
One has suffered burns to 30% of his body, while the second is hospitalized in critical condition with burns to 60% of his body.
65 firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire. Authorities are continuing their investigations to gather a full file on the case.
