Yesterday, on the anniversary of Albania's national independence, MP Bujar Çela of the ruling Socialist Party of Albania made a truly ridiculous move.
The gentleman in question congratulated the parliamentary committee group on Whatsapp where he participates with a flag featuring the portrait of former Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha.
MPs from the Democratic Party (the opposition) described this post as shameful, while simultaneously calling for the urgent cleansing of the country's political system from former dictatorial remnants.
On the other hand, the particular MP responded to the reactions with the phrase: "Grow up for the Albania we want!".
As the above shows, the situation in Albania appears to have remained the same, with the "remnants" of Enver Hoxha leading the Albanian government.
