The Metropolitan of Gjirokastra is in Delvino

Metropolitan Nathanael of Gjirokastra officiated in Delvino, followed by Gjirokastra, Aghios Saranda and Premeti.

He was joined by Archbishop Damaskinos of Joppa of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, who hails from Moschopolis, and at the end of the divine service, he wished the new Metropolitan of Gjirokastër the best as he assumed his duties.

And in Delvino, the new Metropolitan of Gjirokaster, Nathanael, was received with love by the Orthodox Community of the region.

During the divine service, the head vicar of the Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos, Father Georgios Ghiate, was ordained as a Cross Steward.

The message that Metropolitan Nathanael addresses to all believers is that if man freely and willingly dedicates himself to fulfilling what the divine command demands, then his elevation will be achieved.

It is an era that requires strong determination and creative will so that the great human feelings, friendship, love, freedom and holiness, can dominate as motivations.
