Sweeping checks in Italy with dozens of deportations of foreigners

Italian authorities have carried out extensive immigration and public security control operations in northern italy, Leading to the removal of dozens of foreigners from the country, including many albanian Nationals.

According to Italian reports, police services in Brescia and the surrounding areas identified foreigners who either did not have legal residence documents or had serious criminal records. In several cases, deportation proceedings were initiated immediately, without the possibility of remaining in the country.

Among the incidents recorded were a middle-aged man who was stopped during a random check and found not to meet the requirements for renewing his residence permit, as well as a young foreigner who was spotted in the city center without any legal documents. Others were arrested in the act for common criminal law offenses, such as attempted theft at a train station and drug trafficking.

Particular emphasis was placed on individuals with repeated offenses, including cases of robbery, resisting police, and causing bodily harm. In one of the cases, deportation was implemented immediately after the individual was released from prison, without a transitional period.

Όπως αναφέρουν οι ιταλικές αρχές, μόνο στη συγκεκριμένη περιφέρεια έχουν ανακληθεί εκατοντάδες άδειες διαμονής αλλοδαπών που χαρακτηρίστηκαν ανεπιθύμητοι για λόγους δημόσιας τάξης. Οι αποφάσεις ελήφθησαν στο πλαίσιο συντονισμένων δράσεων της αστυνομίας, με στόχο την αυστηρή εφαρμογή της νομοθεσίας περί μετανάστευσης και την επιστροφή των εμπλεκομένων στις χώρες καταγωγής τους, μεταξύ αυτών και η Αλβανία.
