The bloody clash that occurred a few months ago in Kato Patisia, with three seriously injured and a total of 26 people involved, takes on a new dimension after reports from Albania about the identities of the participants.

According to a report by the Albanian website JOQ, both groups that clashed in Kato Patisia were mainly composed of Albanian youths, who allegedly participated in the incidents in an organized manner.

The incidents began on the afternoon of December 21, 2025, when two groups, 16 and 10 people respectively, met to resolve an open confrontation. The conflict escalated into a violent confrontation using knives, iron fists and other objects, resulting in three young men being seriously injured and taken to hospital.

The police investigation that followed led to the arrest of eight people aged 16 to 24, while the case file includes a total of 26 people. A case was filed against them, as appropriate, for attempted homicide, causing bodily harm, fighting and violations of weapons and drug laws.

During the searches of the defendants' homes, quantities of cannabis, cocaine and methamphetamine, precision electronic scales, knives, a replica pistol, an amount of money over 5,000 euros, as well as burglary tools were found, among other things.

For their part, some of those involved are said to attribute the conflict to personal differences, however, the authorities are also examining the possibility that the confrontation is linked to the control of illegal activities in the area.

The investigation remains ongoing, with police authorities attempting to fully map the structure and activities of the two groups.
