Coach dies of heart attack during match in Serbia

The sudden death of the 44-year-old has shocked the football world Mladen Zizovic, her coach Radnicki 1923, who collapsed during the match with Youth on Monday night and succumbed shortly afterwards to cardiac arrest.

The Serbian coach felt unwell about 20 minutes into the match and collapsed next to his team's bench. Despite the immediate efforts of doctors and his transfer to the hospital, he was unable to recover.

In a video released on social media, the Zizovic he is seen giving instructions to his players with his arms crossed over his chest, while his team is leading 1-0. Shortly afterwards, he collapsed on the pitch, causing panic and grief among players and fans. The match was stopped twice and finally abandoned, as his death was confirmed before the end of the first half.

The team captain revealed that the coach had confided in me shortly before the incident that he was not feeling well. "He was giving me instructions and suddenly he said, 'I don't feel well.' He fell down and everything froze," he said, emotional.

THE Zizovic had assumed his duties in Radnicki 1923 on October 23, and was in his third game on the bench. The news of his death caused deep emotion in Serbia and Bosnia, where he had left his mark as a footballer and coach.

His team suspended training for a week, while the next match against Cukaricki was postponed. In Banja Luka, the fans of his former team, FK Borac, paid tribute outside the stadium.
