The payment of benefits by OPEKA on Friday, May 30, will be a significant financial relief for more than 1.1 million citizens. The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, in collaboration with the Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity Organization (OPEKA), announced the payment of a total amount of 282,250,947 euros, which covers a variety of social benefits, from child benefit and guaranteed minimum income to foster care programs and vulnerable debtors.
This payment concerns beneficiaries from all over the country and aims to provide practical support to vulnerable social groups, families with children, people with disabilities, the elderly without insurance, as well as expatriates from Albania. At the same time, for the first time, the Contractor Professional Allowance, while the A21-Child Allowance paid in the form of prepaid card, on the model of Minimum Guaranteed Income, Birth and Foster Care benefits.

- Housing Allowance: 197,359 beneficiaries – 23,801,483 euros

- Funeral Expenses: 96 beneficiaries – 76,314 euros
- Birth Allowance: 8,917 beneficiaries – 11,690,450 euros
