On this day, March 20, 1993, the then Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Virginia Tsouderou, was in the city of Saranda.
The then Greek Deputy foreign minister, together with Mr. starovas, signed A Protocol of cooperation Between greece and Albania.
This included cooperation in many areas, such as an educational agreement, the establishment of a Greek-Albanian bank in Tirana, assistance for the development of agriculture, an agreement on transport, and the abolition of double taxation.
As V. Papachristos informs us, another area of the cooperation protocol was the establishment of a Continental Shelf Committee.
The signing of this specific protocol was attended by Ambassador Christos Tsalikis, Consul General Christos Iakov, V. Tsiakos, Ch. Gkiatis, V. Bileros, S. Kalyvopoulos, S. Kyriazatis, V. Papachristos, K. Makariadis, Th. Mitsios.
