The Greek diaspora recognizes and honors the struggle of the legally elected Mayor of Himara, Fredis Beleris, who is illegally imprisoned by Rama's Albanian regime because he dared to resist the plans of the Albanian Government!

The Federation of Greek Societies of Greater New York made a historic decision, as announced by Parade Committee Chairman Philip Christopher, and declared Fredis Belleris Honorary Grand Master of Ceremonies for the Parade on 5th Avenue on April 14, 2024!

The Greeks of America are sending a strong message to Albania and the American Government that they stand by the elected Mayor of Himara in these difficult times, as well as by all Greeks of Northern Epirus, and oppose Rama's dirty plans to seize the property of Greeks and expel the minority!
