The British Foreign Secretary, Lord David Cameron, is preparing to visit Albania this week.
The purpose of Cameron's trip is to announce a new plan to combat organized crime gangs involved in people smuggling networks.
During his visit, Cameron is expected to hold high-level talks with the Albanian President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, as well as announce a new program to tackle corruption and organized crime in Albania.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is preparing for a trip to Vienna, where he will meet with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer earlier this week.
Sunak's goal is to push for tougher action to tackle illegal immigration and protect Europe's borders from the migration crisis.
Meanwhile, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama revealed that Britain was one of the countries that asked him to create refugee camps in Albania.
However, Rama stated that he only accepted Italy's request.
