The 10th International Summer University "Greek Language, Culture and Media" will be organized in Boston from May 28 to June 2, 2024, in the cultural events hall of the Maliotis Cultural Center (campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross at 50 Goddard Avenue) in Brookline.
The 10th International Summer University this year bears the special title "The Spread and Teaching of the Greek Language in the American Diaspora".
Nikoleta Tsitsanoudi-Mallidi, Founder and Scientific Manager of the Project and Professor of Linguistics and Greek Language at the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Ioannina, spoke on ERT3 and the show "Perimeter".
"It is a bridge between Greek culture, the Greek language and the Mass Media. So it concerns educators, journalists and people who are interested in lifelong learning. But mainly this year it concerns the Greek community since we will address the Greeks of the diaspora to discuss with them the Greek language and of course the achievements in terms of its dissemination and preservation," said, among other things, Nicoleta Tsitsanoudi-Mallidi.
