25-year-old Albanian arrested for hashish plantation in England

A 25-year-old Albanian man, who was arrested on July 24 by British police, was sentenced to eight months in prison for growing cannabis in a bar in Bradford.

British media reports that the young man tried to hide among the plants to escape the police. However, his attempt failed.

He was responsible for the drugs found at a house in Broadstone Way, Holme Wood, Bradford. 81 plants were discovered in the flat.

The young Albanian, a carpenter, had entered the country illegally and initially worked on the construction site. He Owed £5,000 to traffickers. According to him, he had gone to Bradford to tend to the cannabis plants to pay off a debt.
