The Speaker of the albanian Parliament, Lindita nikolla, welcomed English mPs David Jones and Bob Blackman.
During the meeting, the intensification and promotion of cooperation between the Parliament of Albania and the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, as well as other issues of cooperation between the two countries, were discussed.
The MPs, David Jones and Bob Blackman, expressed the House of Commons' appreciation for the continued cooperation with the Albanian Parliament, Albania's overall progress, the promotion of reforms, the fight against organized crime and corruption, the countering of cyber-terrorist attacks, the protection of peace and security, the support of Iranian and Ukrainian refugees, as well as the support for Ukraine's just war against Russian aggression.
They stressed that combating migrant trafficking is the way to support the legal migration of albanian Citizens to the United Kingdom.
