Completion of the Mitsotakis-Johnson meeting

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke of very strong relations between Greece and Great Britain upon his arrival at Downing Street. For his part, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, welcoming Mr. Mitsotakis, stressed that the relationship between Greece and the United Kingdom is of great importance to him.

-Boris Johnson: It is a pleasure to welcome my friend Kyriakos Mitsotakis back to London. We have been working for a long time to make this visit happen. And the relationship between Greece and the United Kingdom is of great importance to me, to us. This year we celebrate the 200th anniversary of the historic start of the Greek struggle for independence, with our support, in 1821.
