A European Commission survey, which assessed the level of satisfaction with local health services, doctors and hospitals in Albania, showed that less than half of citizens have given a positive assessment.

This percentage is significantly lower than the European average, which exceeds 70% of positive reviews.

However, Albania ranks higher than other countries in the region. Only 27% of residents of Skopje and 36% of residents of Podgorica in Montenegro are satisfied with healthcare services, placing these cities at the bottom of the list of countries surveyed.

The study found that in cities in western EU member states, residents are generally the most satisfied with the healthcare system, with almost nine out of ten expressing a positive opinion.view.
