Albanian man converted house into £200,000 cannabis plantation in England

The Albanian, who had turned the apartment into a cannabis plantation in England, was arrested.

British media reports that Bajram Kolaneci has been taken into custody after being caught at the house where he was staying.

During the investigation, police officers found Kolaneci inside with another man, foreign media write.

They discovered a total of 686 cannabis plants, with a street value of between £48,000 and £197,000. Two mobile phones were also found and seized with data attributed to Kolaneci, who had been in contact with a man who gave him instructions on the list of equipment required to manufacture class B drugs.

According to the police, the two men created illegal energy connections.

After being arrested, kolaneci Told officers that he was forced to do such work because he had many debts:

"I had to. They helped me come to the UK and I was obliged."

He added that he had been in Port Talbot for six months and tried to leave, but was "threatened with a gun and forced into the circuit."

The 63-year-old, of no fixed abode, appeared at Seansea Croën Court after admitting producing cannabis and was sentenced to 2 years and 8 months in prison.
