Two burglars ended up in a hospital in Thessaloniki after falling from a height of approximately 6 meters while trying to escape from a house in the Drymos area of Thessaloniki.
The two foreigners, aged 35 and 33, had broken into a first-floor apartment and while they had taken jewelry, mobile phones, personal belongings and 615 euros in cash, the owner of the house returned. According to the police, the burglars attempted to escape from the balcony, but the railing gave way and they fell 6 meters into the void.
The two men, Albanian nationals, were arrested by police officers from the Oreokastro Police Station and transported by EKAB ambulance to a city hospital where they are being treated under guard.
A case was filed against them by the Oreokastro Crime Investigation and Prosecution Department.
