An Albanian gang was dismantled in an operation by the English police. They had set up hashish plantations by renting houses and using forged documents.
The three Albanians who were arrested had taken care to create passages, as they had well hidden the cannabis plantations. The English authorities informed that the Albanians could only reach the place where they were growing cannabis by digging underground or through the doors of the closet in the attic. They were sentenced to prison terms of 4-7 years.
On July 7, 2021, a large coordinated investigation operation was carried out into the rental property network.
During the operation, drug plantations were discovered hidden behind false doors and in unsecured pits that had made the properties unstable. Access to the cannabis plants was through closets, under kitchen cabinets and through well-hidden entrances and exits to warehouses.
