Six men have been remanded in custody after charges were laid over a huge cannabis crop at a derelict nursing home in Leeds. West Yorkshire Police executed a warrant at Moorfield House on Monday.
According to the BBC, officers found cannabis plants with an estimated value of around 450,000 pounds (approximately 535 thousand euros). Six Albanian citizens were arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with cannabis production.
The men, all from Moorfield House, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. They will appear at Leeds Crown Court on January 5.
