Around 48 migrants were rescued today on the shores of the Baie de Somme, because they were in danger of drowning due to a failure in the engine of the boat they were boarding.
The migrants' goal was to reach England. The boat was mainly Albanian, including five women and three children. Rescue teams brought the migrants to the port of Le Tréport at 10:00. "SDIS 76, accompanied by SMUR (mobile emergency and resuscitation structures), also provided immediate medical examination," foreign media write.
