A stockpile of over 100 kilos of drugs was discovered by the Guardia di Finanza in a garage in Santa Croce.
Italian media reports that the owner was an Albanian, while 77 kilos of hashish, 25 kilos of marijuana and 7 grams of cocaine were seized.
The discovery was made during activities to prevent drug sales in youth centers. During the search in a small public park in Santa Croce sull'Arno, police dog Delphy led the police to the garage door of an apartment building.
As reported by the Guardia di Finanza, the Albanian had a previous criminal record in the field of drug trafficking.
The large quantities and different types of drugs seized allow investigators to assume that the arrested person may represent one of the main drug hoarders in the area. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
